Emma Dowd

Emma Dowd believes in putting family first. Caring for the people she loves and protecting their future has always been at the center of her life. That passion for helping others ultimately led her to pursue a career in the insurance industry.

Over the years, Emma witnessed close friends and family members pass away without adequate life insurance coverage, leaving loved ones emotionally devastated and financially overwhelmed. She also saw people suffer serious illnesses and disabilities that, while not fatal, created life-changing financial hardship. Those experiences reinforced her belief that proper insurance planning can make a significant difference during life’s most difficult moments.

Emma also proudly follows in the footsteps of her father, who worked in insurance, annuities, and financial planning in Hartford when she was young. Inspired by his example and driven by her own passion for service, Emma founded her agency in January 2025 with a mission built on integrity, compassion, ethics, and personalized client care.

In September 2024, Emma earned her Life, Health, and Annuity License in the State of Florida, followed by her Travel Insurance License in December 2024. She is currently preparing to pursue her Series 65 certification as she continues expanding her financial knowledge and services.

Community involvement is one of Emma’s greatest passions. She serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Hernando Historical Museum Association in Brooksville, overseeing volunteer operations for three local museums. She also plans community events and proudly serves on the organization’s Board of Directors through 2026. Emma credits the organization with helping her grow personally and professionally, allowing her to step outside of her lifelong introverted shell and become a stronger leader in her community.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Emma enjoys spending time with her spouse, two dogs, family, and friends. She loves exploring foods from cultures around the world, traveling, reading classic literature, watching the Hallmark Channel, visiting Walt Disney World, and relaxing at the beach. She is currently learning to play bass guitar and proudly embraces her individuality through her love of tattoos, piercings, and authentic self-expression.

Emma has never believed in “fitting the mold,” and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She believes authenticity is one of life’s greatest strengths, and she brings that same honesty, compassion, and dedication into every client relationship she builds.
