Emma Lynn Dowd Enterprise, LLC  d.b.a Emma Lynn Dowd Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency offering life insurance, health insurance, Medicare-related insurance, travel insurance, annuities, and related financial planning services.  All communication will be based on insurance policy notifications, or insurance/investing products that can benefit you.

All insurance products are subject to carrier underwriting, state availability, and regulatory approval. No coverage is bound or effective unless confirmed in writing by the issuing insurance carrier.

Nothing on this website or in our communications constitutes a binding offer, guarantee of coverage, or individualized insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice.

All content provided through our website, emails, text messages, podcasts, social media, printed materials, or other communications is for general informational and educational purposes only.

3. Medicare Marketing, Contact & Scope of Appointment (SOA) Compliance

In accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations:

  • Emma Lynn Dowd Insurance Agency does not initiate contact with any Medicare beneficiary or prospective Medicare client without express permission.

  • We may only contact you if you initiate contact by:

Scope of Appointment (SOA)

We cannot discuss any Medicare product, plan, pricing, benefits, or carrier information until a Scope of Appointment (SOA) has been properly completed and signed by the client, either electronically or in person.

  • SOAs are required prior to any Medicare sales discussion

  • We do not accept phone authorization signatures

  • No exceptions are permitted under agency policy

4. Independent Agents & Carrier Non-Affiliation

Emma Lynn Dowd Insurance Agency operates as an independent insurance agency.

  • Agents contracted with our agency are independent agents

  • Not all agents are licensed to sell all products, services, or carriers

  • Agent licensing and appointment authority varies by:

    • State

    • Product line

    • Insurance carrier

No agent working with or under Emma Lynn Dowd Insurance Agency is employed by, represents, or works for any insurance carrier. Agents represent the client and offer products from carriers with whom they are properly licensed and appointed.

5. Text Message (SMS) Communications & TCPA Compliance

  • You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the (813_ 587-1142. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  • If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at sales@emmalynndowd.com or call (800) 587-6136 x 801.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
  • As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive periodic texts from us. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  • Type of texts you may receive are marketing related: new products, new services and other marketing material and account related: payment due, change in services, service active, service cancelled, and other related texts.
