I had the esteemed pleasure to be on another YouTube influencer’s show. He’s a world speaker on the Transgender movement. He’s a FTM transgender who is passionate about the condition and speaks out about against grooming children. He’s Buck Angel! We discuss intersex vs. transgender which are similar in ways yet completely different in others. I talk about my life, how I deal with my condition and more.

Buck Angel is a FTM transgender social media, YouTube influencer who has done public speaking world wide. He has actively stood against transitioning and grooming young children to be trans, which is going against the narrative and agenda. For this Buck has been attacked my the group he is a part of, for speaking his truth. Emma will appear on his show to tell her story of being intersex and what we can do to fix the broken and dangerous narrative of transitioning among children and knowing the pros and cons of an adult transition.

I had the esteemed pleasure to be interviewed by Arielle Scarcella (YouTube Influencer) about my Intersex condition. I am a 46XX CAH (Congenital adrenal hyperplasia). My goal has always been to help people understand my condition and there are many different versions. I tell my story and I hope it educates and inspires.

As Roe v. Wade was a a decision by the US Supreme Court, marriage equality is also a decision and not a law passed by Congress so it could be overturned. For centuries marriage was defined legally as a union between a man and woman, this decision changed that; forcing all 50 states to marry gay couples in the courthouse.

The House of Representatives today with over 46 Republicans and all Democrats created a law to protect marriage equality meaning they can’t discriminate against same sex marriage nor interracial marriage. The Roe vs. Wade decision being overturned scared the lawmakers and they decided to do something about it, the same thing they should have done about abortions but failed to do so. This is mostly from the absolute radical agenda in the law that forced even some middle of the road democrats to rescind on their YEA nod.

This is a huge win for the LGBTQ community. I however don’t believe this is even necessary and here’s why.

Governments, regardless if they are on the state or federal levels are forbidden to discriminate against any of the people they govern. Since marriage between a woman and man are considered legal, within reason, any and all other marriages should also be legal or it would be discrimination. The within reason clause stops people from marrying inanimate objects, animals or minors. If they were to disallow interracial or same sex marriage they would be discriminating.

The law however will guarantee that all marriages will be legal in all 50 states and would not be able to be struck down by the US Supreme Court nor the Office of the President. This means everyone that wants to marry who they love can at least go to the courthouse and get legally married.

I have and always will side with separation of church and state. In this case the government can’t force any religious body to act against their beliefs and marry an interracial or same sex couple. If there was no separation of church and state the law would force them to go against their religious beliefs but it would also allow those religions to influence the government and their beliefs would have to be considered when any law is implemented. Not every person is religious regardless of the religion so to have those beliefs forced upon them would be immoral and vice versa. So I agree with the church being able to accept non-traditional marriages or not and performing the ceremonies on a church by church or religion by religion fashion. We seen many Methodist churches marry same sex couples regardless if the Methodist governing body accepts it or not.

As an intersex individual who is female, married to another female this law if overturned could have negated my marriage, or may be grandfathered in I’m not sure about that. If the prior was the case I would have no choice but to deal with the matter at hand. Negating the marriage would not break the vow I said to my wife as no paper from the state or federal government can negate that but it would have serious financial issues should my spouse or I died prior to the other.

So what’s right is right, we can’t discriminate so against popular belief this never should have been an issue but the government has stepped up to ensure these rights are protected without going too far left or right on the matter. If it’s considered a sin in any religious body those couples can go to any courthouse and get legally married, if it’s a sin to God or not that will be his judgement not the judgement of the people that inhabit this earth. All people should be treated with dignity and respect, you don’t have to accept the marriage but you should respect it enough to not attack the individuals with or without violence. What two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home should have no impact on you unless we are forced to pay for it.

Growing up there was a term that defined someone born with both genders; that term was hermaphrodite. The term is a medical term with a finite definition that can’t be manipulated which has roots back into Ancient Greece. Some time within the 21st century groups and individuals began to take a closer look and dissect the term and they found it was IMPOSSIBLE to be two genders. Scientifically they were correct, chromosomal wise you can either be male or female; but with a genital or reproductive mutation it was thought to be both.

There is a new notion that gender is not determined by your genitals, rather your brain. That brought them to determine that hermaphrodite is a derogatory word. They replaced it with Intersex.

It wasn’t long before the LGBTQ added intersex into their repertoire of acronyms. This merger is where the term intersex is started to be “manipulated”.

As the trans and queer movement took off around 2010, things like pronouns became important to people’s everyday life. They found it offensive if they decided they were non-binary and didn’t want to be called male or female so they didn’t want the him/his or her/she pronouns. They also believe that since the brain is where gender is decided and not ones reproductive functionality, that one could mentally be intersex. That means they portray male but may have some feminine qualities, interests or what have you so therefore they are intersex.

Now it’s becoming a common word among the LGBTQ that most individuals are intersex because of the scenario above. Most science disproves this, those that go by genetics and chromosomes rather than mental adaptation. For instance a woman can’t inseminate another woman and get her pregnant because she lacks the sperm and testicles. On the opposite side a man can’t get pregnant without a uterus and ovaries; but say that outside of your mouth and home and you will have an instant target on your head. This is simply NOT TRUE as the LGBTQ states. If an individual who was born biologically female but believes she’s male, she is biologically male and must be treated as such – hence the “pregnant man”.

The trans movement is something even more complex. These individuals are born male or female and they can’t stand their body. Some become almost crippled with anxiety looking in a mirror and not seeing the correct gender. These individuals go through intense therapies like HRT and even GCS to right this wrong. Once they become the gender they identify as some are able to live a normal life – while some still have serious gender dysphoria. Before one can go through these extreme measures they must complete sometimes two years of psychotherapy before they can get on HRT and some need 1 to 2 years of that depending on the surgeon before they can get GCS (Gender Confirmation Surgery); making the process take several years. This may seem like an eternity for some but it’s a safety measure to ensure the person undergoing these changes is truly transgender and they understand the consequences of their choice.

Hermaphrodite or Intersex are different. Take myself for instance, I was born with XX chromosomes but I had both genitals that was changed when I was just an infant. As I grew up I found I was made the wrong gender. I have a uterus and ovaries, a micro-penis, and female characteristics. Unlike a transgender I didn’t need to go through any HRT to achieve the look I have today, I just had to stop taking testosterone. This is something a transgender would not be able to do, nor a gender queer, non-binary etc. When I went to the surgeon to fix my situation they only required 1 year of HRT. So at worst case scenario my wait would be 1 year.

By claiming everyone who has male and female tendencies in their brain “intersex” they are warping basic medical science and biological science to fit their needs. Should one stand up to them and say they are wrong, they will be met with intense scrutiny, attacks, blackballing, and even worse fates. This also wipes out the identity of intersex individuals, negates their medical conditions because of the abuse of the term by others and makes them just a queer or transgender.

Since I refused testosterone anymore to stay male, I have found the dangers this narrative brings to my health. Doctors tend to dismiss me, making it hard to even get a doctor to see me let alone take me seriously. They don’t listen when I say I am XX chromosome and gave me medicine for men with severe adverse reactions or lack of results. It makes it hard to get GCS procedures which aren’t done for gender confirmation rather fixing our abnormalities. We also are at high risk of being born with or developing later in life auto-immune diseases. I for example have Multiple Sclerosis. Intersex individuals are prone to lupus, spina bifida and things along these lines. Our bodies don’t always work the way a non-intersex individual’s does.

These reasons create a problem when people who believe they are mentally intersex, but are really trans or queer, abuse the term.

The second problem which can be catastrophic for mankind, but excellent for the narrative is it allows trans and queer individuals the ability to bypass the checks and balances to expedite HRT or GCS which could be unfixable or fixable but never the same if they made a mistake. This will only add to the “suicide” rates among the trans community which is an already high risk group. Is this what we really want to please ones ideas without validation and help promote a stupid narrative?

Nestled away in a tiny corner of Downtown Brooksville lies a little gem that is the talk of the city called the “Brooksville Heritage Museum”; AKA “The May-Stringer House”. This beautiful seven gable house has a history behind it that was almost lost to development back in the late 1970s early 1980s but now is a bustling attraction for visitors from all over the globe to see.

The May-Stringer house is named after the two prominent families that lived there and developed it. The first being John May who acquired the home in the mid 1850s, from a man who received the land from the 1842 Armed Occupation Act which gave 160 free acres of land to anyone that would farm 5 acres of land, live on the property for 5 years and keep the Native Americans off the land. The other was Dr. Stringer who purchased the home from Frank Saxon and developed it as you see today, a far cry from the 4 room structure John May built.

But this house was filled with tragedy. John May died in the house from consumption only five years after he purchased and built the home. His wife Marlena would work continue running the farm till she met Confederate Soldier and war hero Frank Saxon in 1866. Frank and Marlena got married and had a son that died as an infant. They would later give birth to Jessie May Saxon but Marlena would die from childbirth complications. At the age of 3 Jessie May would die as well. Grieving Frank would meet Tulula Hope and marry her. She didn’t want to live in the house so he built her a mansion just a few blocks from the May-Stringer house called the “Saxon Manor” today. Frank would sell the home to Dr. Stringer and the area became developed.

The Stringer family would live here till the 1970s when the last Stringer grandchild sold it to a developer who let it go into the ground. It was basically condemned when Virginia would save it from being bulldozed to the ground and turned the home into what we now know as the “Brooksville Heritage Museum.”.

The house is filled with period artifacts that were donated to the museum by the town of Brooksville. Some items returned to the house and are on display in the parlor. This 14 room mansion is a work of art within itself and a time capsule to the past. From Tuesday to Saturday tours are given through the museum by docents, one of with is Emma Dowd! She is there every Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM (Eastern) giving tours and being passionate about preserving the past and wonderful works of architecture. At night there are ghost tours since the house is one of the most haunted locations in Florida. It’s been seen on Kindered Spirits and TAPS Ghost Hunters.

Emma volunteered at the house in 2009 for a brief period, she left because of health reasons and work schedule conflicts but now she’s home as she says doing something she loves doing and giving back to the community.

“Between 2009 and now I would come to the house and sit on the porch when they were closed just to feel the energy, it called me! If you ever seen my art a lot of it was inspired by this house, and the city of Brooksville in general. I always believe we should preserve houses like this and keep them authentic, they tell stories and my god if walls could talk this house will be able to give a three hour lecture. I am SO happy to be back and I hope the tours I give will be uplifting, full of knowledge and fun for those who toured with me”.
